This means the Expat Center is able to help companies and their highly skilled migrant employees, scientific researchers, international entrepreneurs and graduates. The staff at the Information Desk are volunteers from ACCESS, a non-profit organisation supporting the international community in the Netherlands. Given they are often expats themselves or have experienced living and working abroad, they are eager to share their experience and get you on the right track with the latest information.
Here in the Netherlands, businesses and organisations take your identity protection seriously. One tool used towards this aim is the DigiD. It is a digital signature identity verification that many governmental organizations and businesses use to provide access for you to their online services. Get your BSN first, then you can get your DigiD.
